An Overview

Since 1977 Bill Corbett, founder of Corbett Business Consulting has been assisting organizations to improve productivity and performances. In 2006 Corbett Business Consulting was created. We focus primarily on residential addiction treatment centers, both primary and extended care, and sober living facilities. We also partner with associated services such as intensive-outpatient clinics and addiction recovery professionals. Some of our past clients include a broad spectrum of industries, including medical services, the automotive industry, home improvement (retail and wholesale organizations), and the food industry. We bring a global best practices perspective to each intervention.

We partner with the client, personnel, resources, and the transfer of skills to the client. Our engagements are usually completed within three to six months. We work against defined objectives with clearly established outcomes and timing, contributing to client business goals.

The Redesigned Organization

For the Rose transitional Home (The Rose House), a residential extended care treatment facility for women only, located in Colorado, we helped design a new organizational structure, including creating an organizational chart that reflected a two-year growth goal, and supported it with a new foundation that included all job descriptions, including entrepreneurial, management and task responsibilities. Next, we created very detailed operating manuals with documented, proven, systems and processes, with standards to be hit and quantifiers to measure the performance.

Strategy Creation

For all of our clients we provided a systemic process, which we co-created for the management teams, enabling the organizations to utilize resources to achieve the objectives. One of the results has been to increase the financial strength of the organizations (enabling them to help more people) without an increase in census.

For Jaywalker Lodge and The Rose House we co-designed a process and program for greater emphasis on the client experience and referent relationships, and the pragmatic business results that can be achieved from the wholistic approach to business.

Designing the Systems

For all of our clients we designed systems and processes that took the businesses from being people dependent to system dependent. Even the most 'expert' dependent departments were systemized ensuring that the business would not be dependent on an expert.
